i was on a walk the other day when i saw a billowing cloud of smoke rising from a house; i wondered how the fire started - if some wayward squirrel got loose in the attic and decided to make a nice meal of some old cloth wire covering... if somebody fell asleep watching their daily soap opera leaving something cooking on the stove... or if some strange higher force decided to wrought an act of violent nature upon the earth to some greater good for some unknown reason. in the process of deducing such strange reasonings, i was given to think about the life of a fire in relation to an old wooden structure...

anyway i think the fire dept put the fire out before it consumed the entire house thus advertently thwarting the strange force that caused the catastrophe...
