about

as the story goes, i was out and about with sarah chung and my parents at a dusty old antique mall outside of berea, kentucky post christmas 2008. as these atypically boring outings tend to behave, i decided to give myself something to do and bring along my portable audio recorder (zoom h2) - just in case there were some old dusty instruments lying about with a new story to tell.

well as the outing progressed, i unearthed nothing in the way of new found sounds to be mined from history past... as we were about to leave i noticed a rather cantankerous buzz oozing forth from the rafters of the musty basement ceiling light. so obviously in one way or another i had found my instrument!

and the rest is well, in the mix as they say.
